The primary purpose of this Digital Independent Study is to incorporate New Media concepts to apply to different brand verticals and industries.
I desire to challenge myself to go outside of my comfort zone to further hone my skills in the areas of product photography, product commercial animation, and creating a thoughtful social media campaign from start to finish.

Peace Tea is a brand of flavored iced tea beverages known for its refreshing taste and vibrant packaging. The brand offers a range of flavors that appeal to different taste preferences.
Peace Tea offers a variety of flavors, including:
Razzleberry: A sweet and tangy blend of raspberry and blackberry flavors.
Georgia Peach: A delightful combination of ripe peaches and tea, providing a refreshing and fruity taste.
Caddy Shack: A traditional lemon iced tea flavor, providing a classic and refreshing experience.
Sno-Berry: A mix of berry flavors, including strawberry and blueberry, for a refreshing and fruity taste.
Peaceful Punch: A tropical blend of passion fruit, mango, and tea, delivering a vibrant and exotic flavor.

THE CONCEPT
I have always loved advertising but I never had the chance to explore the nitty-gritty process of creating a product commercial. I appreciate brands coming out of their way to produce catchy video commercials, and with the rise of short-form video content today, I wanted to take this opportunity to work on a project that can develop my animation skills featuring food and beverage brands.
The food & beverage industry has been one of my greatest interests, and spending time producing product commercial videos in this niche would be a great addition to my portfolio.
This product commercial animation will heavily focus on utilizing still images and converting them to a 10-second video ad that can be used for YouTube in-stream advertising.
DELIVERY
This project will be showcasing 4 different brands, with a 7.5 hours estimated video production timeline, for a total of 30 hours.
Delivery of the product will be in the form of a video with the following specifications:
1280 x 720 pixels, minimum width of 600
rendered .mp4 file type
Each brand video animation will feature 3 different product variations in a single video, and will be expected to have photo manipulation, video effects, multiple sound FX, music, and appropriate transitions.
CHALLENGES
In video animation, there are always a few factors that can hinder production such as:
Creative block is one of the common problems creators face in creating videos. Keeping track of progress and always checking the schedule is a must.
Smooth transitions and timing are other challenging factors during post-production, so choosing the right music and effects is better planned in advance.
Video rendering might take some time if the video asset produced is large, and the computer might have some technical difficulties after long hours of video card use.
