Sephora

A visual and content studio-focused project featuring skincare brand photography and content creation.

The Brief

This project is part of my compelling well-crafted digital independent study with the purpose of stepping forward in product photography to help e-commerce business in the skincare industry create a full gallery of professional product photos that can be used for social media and their website.

In this project, I was able to structure my workflow as a product photographer, expand my styling ideas, improve my photo-capture techniques, and take my image processing up a notch.

Product Photography

The Brand: Sephora

Sephora brand has been the hub for everything fashion, and in this brand photoshoot, I chose to showcase the Sephora Clean Collection featuring Vitamin C&E serum, Clarifying Toner, and the famous Melting Cleansing Balm. The theme is "fresh" and has utilized two backgrounds and separate props and elements to make the photos pop.

The Goal

Produce nine (9) fully edited and retouched high-resolution images and deliver an online gallery that highlights the full-funnel creative studio photography work:

  • Scripting and copywriting

  • Storyboards and Moodboard

  • Photography and styling

  • Creative direction

  • Studio lighting

  • Image processing

The Concept

Style a skincare product and deliver a curated gallery of full-size images and cutdowns for social media.
